Abacus Airport Cars are a family run company based in Cambridge, England. We have a vast knowledge of all U.K. airports / London area, and of course an infinite knowledge of Cambridge City and surrounding areas. All drivers are of smart appearance on all transfers, and carry a mobile phone with them at all times.
We as a company specialise in airport / hotel transfers and mid to long distance travel for both business clients and holiday travellers. We have an increasing number of clients booking vehicles for theatre trips, and race meetings. We have a combined experience of over 90 years in the travel & leisure sector. As you will find out, all our drivers both male and female, are completely fluent in English, and are hand picked by us for their complete professionalism and confidentiality. All our drivers are also thoroughly vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau, before we will consider them for any of our client transfers.
We can supply baby and child seats upon request for all journeys, at no extra cost, for children aged between 3months - 11 years.
For ALL airport collections, our policy is to arrive at the terminal 30mins after the flight has landed. This allows time for our clients to clear baggage and customs (If you believe 30mins is longer than you require, then please inform us of this when booking). Cold bottled water is available for all airport collections, and long distance transfers.
Please note: After the driver has been in the terminal for 25 minutes, clients will incur waiting charges. This is at a rate of £15GBP per hour (25 pence per minute). Payable in cash to the driver upon completion of transfer.
As you can see from these pictures below, we have a vast variety of vehicles on our fleet from Executive saloon cars, to 8 seater vehicles, some with conference seating in the rear, and some with wheelchair access. All vehicles and drivers are fully licensed and insured for hire and reward, and all cars are fitted as standard with a first aid kit and fire extinguisher.
